Recipe for 1 liter:
1 kg rhubarb
50 g sugar (take more if you like it more sweet)
20 g fresh ginger
1 lime
500 ml water
500 ml mineral water
Cut of both ends of the rhubarb and cut the rest into pieces. Peel and cut the ginger.
Put the Rhubarb, ginger, sugar and 500 ml water in a pot. Let it get to boil at a medium heat and let it be cooking for about 10 minutes until the rhubarb mouldered. Let it stand for another 30 minutes.
Take another pot and seven everything through a fine sieve. Squash the rhubarb very good (should be about 500 ml of juice).
Fill up the rhubarb ginger juice with 500 ml of mineral water and serve real cold with lime slices. Is very good with sparkling wine. 🙂
