Yesterday I had a craving for sweets with a nice crisp, so I made „chocolate cornflakes crispies“.
In Germany we have a sweet suchlike, it’s called „Choco Crossies“ and this recipe is a nice alternative. 🙂
Recipe:
unsweetened cornflakes
35 g cacao butter
40 g raw almond paste / cream / butter
15 g agave syrup
20 g cacao powder (cacao for baking without sugar or other additives)
1 pinch bourbon vanilla (ground)
1. chocolate
Melt the cacao butter in a water bath. Add the almond paste, the agave syrup, cacao and bourbon vanilla and stir everything well.
2. chocolate cornflakes crispies
Let the chocolate cool down for about 10 minutes. Then add as much cornflakes as you like and gently fold them in so all cornflakes are covered in chocolate.
4. perfect finish
Put everything on baking paper and let it cool for about 1 hour in the fridge. Make little pieces and enjoy. 🙂
