Recipe for 1 loaf pan:
200 g (7 oz) butter (soft) (or margarine)
200 g (7 oz) sugar
1 tbsp. sugar
salt
4 eggs
300 g (10.5 oz) flour
2 tsp. baking powder
150 ml (0.63 US-cup) milk
25 g (0.9 oz) cocoa powder
2 tsp. matcha tea
50 g (1.8 oz) semi sweet couverture chocolate
50 g (1.8 oz) white couverture chocolate
Preheat the oven to 347 °F top and bottom heat.
Mix the butter or margarine together with one pint salt for about 5 minutes until foamy (with the hand mixer or your food processor). Put in one egg after another and let it mix after each one for about 30 seconds. Mix the flour with the baking powder and add it together with 0.41 US-cup milk rotatively to the dough, and fold it in quite quick.
Take half of the dough and put the cocoa powder, 1 tbsp. sugar together with 0.2 US-cup milk into the dough. Divide the other half again in half. Mix in 2 tsp. matcha tea in one half.
Fill in half of the chocolate dough in the greased loaf pan (1 liter or 4.16 US-cups, 30 cm long). Then fill half of the bright dough over it, the fill in the matcha dough, then bright dough again and top off with the other half of the chocolate dough. Take a fork and pull through the dough spirally.
Bake the triple marble cake on the baking grid in the bottom third of the oven for about 50 to 60 minutes (make the test with a wooden stick if the cake is ready). Take it out of the oven, let it cool for 10 minutes in the pan and then let it drop out of the pan and let it cool down on a grid. Melt both couverture chocolate and spread over the cake.
