Homemade peach ice tea ❤Print Recipe
- Ingredients for 1.3 litre ice tea:
- 500 g peaches + 2 peaches for later
- 1 tsp. grounded vanilla
- 1 litre of water
- 4 teabags of black tea of your choice
- 400 ml water
- agave syrup
- A lot of ice cubes
Cut the peaches in small pieces and put them together with the vanille and water to simmer for about 15 minutes. Then let everything cool down to 80 °C. After that strain the peaches and squash the peaches a little bit (so the sweetness of the fruit comes out). Sweeten with agave syrup as you like. Let it cool down.
Put hot water over the tea bags and let it allow to infuse for about 5 minutes. Than squeeze out the bags and take them out of the water. Let the tea cool down.
After both is cooled, wash the remaining two peaches and cut them into slices.
Mix the peach infusion and the tea together and put in a lot of ice.
Put in the glasses 2-3 peach slices and some ice cubes. After that fill up with the peach ice tea. Enjoy a glass of the rest of the summer!
